Educational Qualification
For applicable Group D posts covered by the CET, candidates generally needed to have passed Matriculation from a recognized board and have Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects up to the Matriculation level. The detailed qualification requirements for individual Group D posts may vary where specific provisions apply, so candidates should always check the relevant post advertisement before appointment or further recruitment stages.
Age Limit

Relaxation in the upper age limit may be available to eligible categories according to the applicable Haryana Government instructions and recruitment rules.
HSSC CET Group D Exam Pattern
The Group D CET examination is based on the Matriculation level. The written test consists of 100 compulsory multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 100 marks, with an examination duration of 1 hour 45 minutes. The question paper is bilingual in Hindi and English and is conducted in offline OMR-based mode.
There is no negative marking for selecting a wrong answer. However, candidates who do not attempt a question must mark the designated fifth option on the OMR sheet; failure to mark the required option for an unattempted question may result in a deduction of one mark.
Minimum Qualifying Marks
The minimum qualifying requirement is 50% for candidates in the General category and 40% for candidates belonging to eligible reserved categories, subject to the applicable rules and instructions.
HSSC CET Group D Syllabus
The syllabus covers areas such as General Awareness, Reasoning, Quantitative Ability, Hindi, English and Haryana-specific knowledge.
